Szigetköz Cup 2010

Our first 5 years - so quickly gone!
Our club, the Working Retriever Club of Hungary has held its first international working test and training days, the Szigetköz Cup in the summer of 2006. It was the first retriever test of international standard in Hungary, which has been visited by several retriever people, also from abroad.
This was already 5 years ago.
In the last 5 years, we have got a lot of support from friends in Hungary and abroad - mainly Austria to be able to keep the standard of our events high whilst keeping the friendly atmosphere. Without your help and support, dear retriever friends, whom we already met at one or more of our events, we could not celebrate our 5. years Jubileum this year in Dunasziget.
Let us give you something back, let us offer you some surprises in case you visit our 5. years Jubileum Szigetköz Cup:
- when our Club has been founded, our goal was to support beginners to jump into this sport. Keeping it in mind today, we would like to offer a special low entry fee (20 EUR) for all those dogs who run in the Puppy (E) class.
- Except for this, all dogs running on a test the first time, get a special present from the Club, and also, a special prize will be offered to the most successful first-time-starters.
- Every starter gets a little memory from us as well already at the registration.
We have invited two very professional judges from the UK: Guy Bennett and Peter Bates to judge the event. Both of them are very experienced "A panel" judges, with a lot of experience and knowledge.
Guy Bennett will also give training-seminar on the 19-20. August which is possible to attend with or without dog as well.
The Working Test will be organised - as usual - in 4 classes.
The Szigetköz Cup will be awarded by the judges to one of the 4 Class-Winners.
Online entries are possible from 15. July till 10. August on this website.
AN EVENT ... YOU SHOULD NOT MISS!
Let's celebrate together the 5. years anniversary of our club's life and the 5. years anniversary of the Szigetköz Cup too - let's celebrate the active retriever sport!
